The practice dispenses for patients living more than one mile from a chemist.

Repeat Prescriptions

The computer print-out slip attached to your prescription will list the drugs you may need to order again and how many remaining times you may order more drugs. When any of the drugs have expired a message will ask you to see your doctor in order for you and your medication to be reviewed. Please do not embarrass the dispensary staff by asking them to repeat these prescriptions as they do not have the authority to print an expired prescription. These checks are for your health and safety and not to cause annoyance and inconvenience. Please allow 2 FULL WORKING DAYS to have this request completed. If you have asked for your prescription to be sent to a local chemist then please allow at least one further working day.

There are four ways in which you can order your repeat prescription:
  1. You can bring these slips to the dispensary
  2. You can post your slip
  3. You can fax your slip to 01763 249197
  4. You can e-mail your request to the dispensary by clicking on the e-mail address: prescription.royston@nhs.net

Chemists

Three of the four dispensing chemists take it in turns to stay open until 6.30pm.
The fourth is located in Tesco and is open until 8.00pm daily and 4.00pm on Sundays.
